Now that football season is in full swing, what are your thoughts on football? I started watching football about 15 years ago when I moved here to Pittsburgh, PA. It was the old "If you can't beat them, join them" theory. This is a major football town featuring the Pittsburgh Steelers. The comradery if the city is phenomenal. If you ever get the chance to go to a live NFL game, you should take the opportunity. To be honest you don't really know what is going on because it is live, but the feeling around the stadium is so cool. It is like with all these people rooting together we can accomplish anything. I wish people across our great nation would get together on the big issues and unite to end child abuse, or our nations hunger etc. Wouldn't our nation be a much better place to live?!!!
But anyway, what is your stance on football? Take it or leave it?

I agree with you Danielle. It's amazing how people can get so united over something so truly meaningless as a ball game, but we can't put our heads together and conquer much more important things.
