j/k I still gave a 10, Im ready for some football!
I hate to break your heart, but Senator Obama is secretly a 49er fan. I just didn't want to bias the article!
Excuse me, one step at a time. You have got to get pass the gold and red to get to any Superbowl baaaaa beeee. Tough luck (lol)
Maybe 2009 will be your lucky year (lol)
We will see come October 7 who takes the first matchup of that popular rivalry!
Chew on THAT!
BTW, little Devin Hester just can't wait to return the ball against the Pack's special teams either! lol
************************CHEAP*****************************
You know you're my pal. So is Matt. Just because you live in Chicago, doesn't mean you are required to be loyal to the home team
Venture out, my friends, venture out into the world!
The poor dog! These guys think -- Lynn -- I don't know a hill of beans about football. I am only suckering them in for the kill. That's how you do it, you know. (lol) Learned that from Bill Walsh (lol).
Who -- if you have an opinion -- do you think will be AFC and NFC victors this season?
I'm not a Packer fan, but the fishing up there is pretty good!
What does that have to do with football, though? We have Raiders here and 49ers, but I am not a Raiders fan. I hate the Raiders. I call them the Traitors. See what I mean?
Nalita if the pack doesn't go I will root for the 9ers. :) Nice article!
I was hoping I would get some assist from you and Nippy. Did you see Dianne Feinstein on TV the other night mess with York's head. I'll bet he felt like crawling under the table (lol). I have tried to get into college football, but it is (the rules) so different from pro, plus the play isn't as professional and tough at least not to me. I like to see those boys get in there and beat each other's brains out. Yes, it does bring out the heathen in me, can't help myself.
Why, the Colts and Panthers are okay, I guess. As long as you didn't say the BEARS!
According to sports writers, reviews and articles I have read, statistically, the San Francisco 49ers have had the most loyal fans in the NFL.
Take that BEARS!
We have THAT and OBAMA! You can have YORK! Even his name doesn't sound San Francisco!
You are always welcome. And look who shows up late to the party! The person who wants me to get off the computer here, can you guys believe this . . . don't laugh . . . is a Dallas Cowboy fan. eeeeeeew! :=( Another loser, like the Bears!
Always sing this song loud and sing always sing it proud just keep Papa Bear George Hallas in mind when singing!
Lyrics: Al Hoffman, 1941
Bear Down, Chicago Bears.
Make every play clear the way to victory!
Bear Down, Chicago Bears.
Put up a fight with a might so fearlessly!
We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation,
With your T formation.
Bear Down, Chicago Bears.
And let them know why you're wearing the crown.
You're the pride and joy,
of all Illinois.
Chicago Bears, Bear Down!
It was for you, but you see how they have been dissing the Packers, starting with Farve. How dare they! Now Brian starts misspelling my name (lol) and RESORTING to song (lol). Well, when all you have got is a song and a prayer, I guess that is what you do. . . lol . . .
I'll have to go with the Indianapolis Colts because Peyton is there. I'll have to go with the New York Giants because Eli is there. I'm going with the Bears because I like the Bears and the Bears people were a lot of fun here last year.
Whoop tail, Nalita, I know you can do it.
Memphis wasn't good to the Titans so the Titans went to Nashville. Made me ashamed. Nashville loves the Titans. Now Memphis loves the Titans, but TOO LATE. Being fickle burns you every time.
After Payton, though, it just took the wind out of my sails. I couldn't bear to watch another Bears game. I just couldn't.
Since he left there, I have been a packer backer and will be!
That said, I guess you all know who I think will win the NFC title.
I've already got you covered. Did a new one for you -- HA!
You probably won't like this, but I telling the story only in part. One of my friends saw Elway sitting in Oakland International Airport with a "cute babe" on a leg, or at least he said she was "cute." But he also said Elway was picking/digging deep in his nose. I didn't care; I was mad at my friend for not getting his autograph because he could have and didn't.
"Leave the man alone. He gets enough of that." he said. I wanted to strangle him. You think I'm kidding, don't you, but I am not. When it comes to football I become a heathen, a barbarian. I lose all sense of civility, which reminds me. I missed the Charger game, thanks to broadcast MISINFORMATION. These schedules are invaluable. Barack will be rooting for the home team Time on the 10th, the 49ers. 12:49 am here, time for bed. But I did want to wring his NECK :=(
You do know that Elway is a California kid!
Now the only thing I watch is downhill skiing, surfing, some motorsports. No team sports. Must be the only child in me. :)
Aw, now isn't that rare. She bleeds blue :=)
You had better join Bret then for the water and winter sports, because you be awfully cold in BLUE. Red and Gold will be in style until -- oh, at least February 08.
Join us, Patti. Bret's already in. He's Bay Area, he just won't admit he's in.
As for Jason, you heard him -- he's a confessed Raider Traitor.
My anti-Brother. That's right! Anti-Brother, like Anti-Christ. I want you to know you got me OUT OF BED! Yes. I was on my way to sleepy land, and then I remembered the little crrrraack you made about Oprah and Obama.
I do believe the only "papers" on Obama are in Hawaii -- what I mean, that was his point of entry -- where he was born. (I am typing in the dark). What's Chicago got to do with THAT? I don't hear Hawaii whining about "waaa waaa waaa"
I also believe BEFORE the Senator went out to Chicago he lived in California. Now, we have the right to live in any/all of the 50 states we soever choose.
Truth be told, the Senator is now a Son of America. He belongs to everybody now, so stop being greedy. I can't help it, if his grin and his reception is warmer here in California than anywhere else. We are just a naturally warm State. Now, to Oprah . . .
What about Oprah?
Doesn't Oprah now reside in Africa, with stopovers from time to time in Chicago?
I haven't seen Oprah's picture on Gather, have you?
In case you haven't caught on, Matt, I'm baiting all of Da Bear fans
I am baiting you all BIG TIME
This is going to be sweet, even sweeter than the GREAT "Sweetness"!
I am sitting back with the . . . duh . . . duh . . .duh . . duhs
Waiting for my chance (lol).
I am soooo confident, I am even TELLING you what I am doing -- WHY?
Because even though I tell it, it's never believed.
Not until I come in for the
KILL!
Then it's too late.
You are sooo much fun.
Don't forget to click on Obama's photo on the other article. (lol).
Part of the bait.
First you need players and YES the 49ers will have more of a chance this season than the Pack.
Look SOUTH, my dear - to that endangered city you like to write about - New Orleans! The Saints will come marching in to whatever city wants to take them on - probably Chicago Bears - for the NFC championship...
Hey, hey hey. Now hold on just one minute there. You have all my respect. You DO know your football, and with you (unlike me), it isn't about loyalty, BUT do not count the 49ers out of the NFC championship just yet. I would love to see New Orleans -- and getting serious, naw not just yet because I got to get Matt and Brian.
Let's just say it would be an interesting NFC game to have two formidable teams in it and leave it at that. I would also say we can go into email -- for now and make some personal bets on this. You have your thoughts; I, mine. I am just not willing to show my hand publicly yet. Men don't think women know about football. I want to maintain that image until, at least mid-season. Willing?

It must be Divine Intervention, and I am WITH YOU, BABY! At the last minute the local channel decided to run the Packers/Eagles game -- yeah! Doesn't get better. The favored Favre is on the sidelines (Eagles have the ball) and has to do the officiating because the refs must be asleep. They finally catch it though. I know you must be watching. This game is hot/and action-packed from the beginning. I like McNabb, but he is starting off making mistakes. Got Tivo, but still want to get back in.
Jeff, we are going to win, Darling!
~Nalita
Tracy White -- oooooh yea
7-0 Greeeeeeen Bay!
Remind me to talk about the James Jones out of San Jose State. How much do you know about him? I get a good feeling about him. I don't know if it's because he is from the Bay Area, or what, but what do you know. He looks promising. I hope he stays with the Packers, or if he doesn't, he'll come back to the Bay. He is looking good!
Back to the game!
If it makes you feel any better the win was bittersweet in a few ways. At the height of the excitement, 2 minutes, Fox cuts over to the Raiders game, because I live in the Bay Area (DRAG); I HATE the Raiders, so I didn't get to see the win. I had to read the ticket on the Raiders game to find out.
The other not-so-nice thing is that I actually like the Eagles. It would have been a sweeter victory had it been against the Bears or the Raiders, two teams which I simply detest. At least Denver won today, so that is good news too. I am really regretful that the Packers had to begin the season beating the Eagles. If the Eagles don't play the 49ers or the Packers they have my support!
