Do you have any tips that can help new moms? My tip for today is to keep lots and lots of plastic bags. (like the kind from Walmart or the grocery store)---I keep them in a bag holder right by the trash can. That way when your little ones deliver you those wonderful stinky gifts every day, you can slip the diaper into a plastic bag and TIE IT TIGHTLY! It saves on kitchen trash bags and it saves on SMELL!!! ha ha ha

If you have any great tips for Moms then share it here! These little ones definately didn't come with instruction manuals!!

Take the old advice ....sleep when the baby sleeps or you will AlWAYS be tired. The dishes can wait.

The only problem with that one, is that my 3 1/2 year old will NEVER take a nap! So basically I am ALWAYS tired! Thank God for caffiene!!!

Here's my advice: Trust your instincts. Doctors are there to help, books are there for you to consult, but never ever ever forget that you have final authority over your child, and don't let yourself be bullied by people with lots of letters after their names. Nobody knows your child better than you do.

I love my Diaper Genie. You put the diaper in, twist, and it's ready for the next diaper. It reduces the smell without all the additional plastic, because it is just one bag. When the Genie is full, you cut the bag, tie it off, and it's ready to go again.
