The Vaseline Mishap

This reminds me of an April's Fools Joke. You Vaseline a door knob, making it VERY hard to open.

lol, Kimmy! The craziest thing my daughter (4 yrs) has done was a couple weeks ago. I went into the bathroom to find her on her footstool by the sink with a tube of moisurizer. "Look Mommy, I'm painting!" New tube of Nutrogena smeared all over the sink and counter, mirror, and herself. Don't know how the cats escaped!!

Oh No! My nephews ages 2-3 once went to the kitchen early to get their own breakfast. They dumped sugar and flour from the canisters down the hot air register and of course when the blower came on it was distributed around the room. My sister didn't ever stay in bed late again. She had just had baby 3 and was worn out but oh how she paid.

My oldest unrolled a roll of toilet paper into the toilet and then dumped in a bag of flour. He was one and a half.

Can you say paper mache?

That is so funny. The craziest thing my daughter ever did was when she was 3 and stuck M & Ms up her nose. We headed for the ER, but they melted before we got there.

I guess my son was probably four at the time. He came to me complaining that his ear hurt. Because he was notorious for ear infections I thought "oh great! Here we go again!" So I had him let me look in side, and found that it was all crusty. And I thought "Oh man! He's never had an infection this bad! It's like he an absess or something that has busted and it's dried up." Then I got to thinking, "well maybe he's scratched down inside and the scratch is infected." So I got the peroxide and proceeded to boil it out. These huge white chucks kept boiling out of his ear! So then they quit boiling but I could see big gobs of it. So I got my tweezers out and started to pull the gobs out. Then I would reboil with the peroxide and more would come out. I'm freaking out and thinking "what the heck! The kid's going to be deaf from this infection!" And so I'm calling the doctor to try to get him in and about that time my older son comes in. He starts laughing and tells my little one, you better tell momma what you've done before they try to surgically remove your brain through your ear. And I'm like "huh?'. So he says again, "you better tell her what you've done, she needs to know." So in this very shy little voice with a crooked grin he says, "Momma, I put cornbwead in my eawa" (he has no r's, only w's). I said "What are you talking about? We haven't had any corn bread in ages!" At that my older one busts out laughing and informs me it's garlic bread from the night before! The kid has shoved what had to be a half a loaf of freakin' garlic bread in his ear!!!!!!!!!!!! When I finally quit laughing and got over being speechless and dumbfounded I had to know the why! And this was his answer:

"Well, you talk, talk, talk all the time, and Kolten talk, talk, talks all the time, and I just can't getting any peace and quite time for myself around here, so I made me some eawa plugs to shut you all up!"
