I do. I've always got a digital in my pocket, "just in case".
Here in Milwaukie, Oregon it is in the mid-90's this afternoon. And I was out of beer. As I walked across the to the local convenience store I saw a police car flying down the street. He crossed into oncoming traffic and drove up on the sidewalk right by me. I thought this was an overreaction to my jaywalking...
I was getting a little nervous as he jumped out of the car and pulled out his gun! He ran past me and over to the 7-11, though.
Another six police cars, marked and undercover, pulled in all around.

Apparently the lady with the cute bunny on her shirt thought it was okay to use a knife instead of money to get cigarettes. I'm not an expert in the commission of crimes, but my thought is that after stealing cigarettes at knifepoint you shouldn't sit out front and smoke them...
I only got these two shots because another policeman told me I needed to get back. Fair enough.
Last week I was on my way home when I saw billowing smoke. I had a couple of cameras in the car so I parked and hustled over to the burning apartment building.
Firefighters were swarming all over. They got everyone out safely but the building had major damage.

I got quite a few good shots. It was interesting watching them strategize and carry out their plans.
So, do any of you always have a camera with you? Have you been lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time to get some good shots?
