Almost from the moment you see the second blue line on a pregnancy test, everyone from your mother, to your best friend, to a nosey stranger at the grocery store, starts handing you parenting advice.
While some advice comes along unwanted, other advice is welcomed and much appreciated.
With that in mind, what is the best parenting advice you have ever received?a

Mostly, this pertains to feeding, dressing, and health care. If you think something is wrong with the baby, and the doctor says there's not; keep watch over that baby. The mother knows what's normal and what's not. Get another doctor's advice to reassure yourself.
It's even more important with second babies since you don't have to try to keep the older one quiet so the cranky baby can finally sleep.
When a pregnant friend discussed how all her baby's naps would be in her own darkened room where it was quiet, I passed along the advice.
