Can you guess the album cover?

I am starting you out with a fairly easy one...give it a try!

 

*please refrain from posting the whole cover if you know it...I want other peoplel to have a chance! thanks!

I think it is Molly Hatchet -- I bought one of their tapes once from our local convenience store, because it had that great song "Fall of the Peacemakers." My brother even has a solo album by the singer of the group -- I think his name is Danny Joe Brown. At first I thought it was something by The Eagles, because it looked like it had talons on it. But I don't have any of their albums. Now we just need to figure out WHICH Molly Hatchet album it is! Thanks for posting this.

I dont know what the album name is but I do like Molly Hatchet, especially "Flirtin With Disaster"

My friend did a copy of this cover, in mixed media, that looked alost exactly like the original. I was supposed to be the artist, and he put me to shame! With my own markers, pencils, and pastels, no less! I have a B&W xerox copy of it somewhere, which I'll post some day. You can't tell that it's not the original album cover that we xeroxed!

Of course, I recognized it immediately!

It is a classic Frazetta painting, as the first 2 or 3 Molly Hatchet albums were. They switched to a different artist on their later albums, which coincided with their fading popularity.
Christopher...my daughter is a huge Frazetta fan...we agree with you completely!
