I am SO HAPPY! My glucose levels are in the low 100's!

For the first time since I was diagnosed as a diabetic on May 19th [my birthday] of 2005, my first test of the day has been consistently in the normal range - 109, 117, 123.

I am so happy about this!  I thought that I was never going to see those numbers in my life!  This is really a breakthrough for me and I almost can't contain my complete and utter joy!  I'm as giddy as a school girl!  Happy as a clam!  Completely and utterly overjoyed!  I feel so good about it that I feel a bit smug even.  YES!  I am normal, HA!   This is one of the times that I don't mind being normal at all!

I just wanted to share my total happiness with everyone!  I hope good stuff is happening for you too!!

Congratulations Teresa! That is about where my is staying too for the past 2 months and I am proud to say I did it with changing my diet! I worked so hard to be good as I DID NOT WANT ONE MORE PILL OR WORSE SHOTS! so I was very careful what I put in my mouth and it worked! Plus I have lost 17 pounds which my doctor is thrilled about!

As one diabetic to another I am thrilled for you, I have done the same thing with just a diet change imposed on myself and have been taken down off most of my medication because I am now consitantly in the 80 to 90 range and so happy about it, I feel better all over because of it and I lost 42 lbs, and that is a great lift too, an excuse to buy new clothes , or better yet, fit in some of my old ones that had gotten small, keep up the good work , the rewards are great, congratulations.
