Fundraiser help

Does ayone have any suggestions of a web site where I can advertise my son's school fundraiser? He has a web page set up through Priority Fund Raising with his information and all the gift and candy selections. It is set up to accept credit cards and the items will be shipped directly from the warehouse which is located in Indiana, to the buyer.

You can advertise it here, but heck, 90% of people who buy from school fundraisers do so because they're related to the lil tyke selling it. It's so horribly over priced, and half the time, junk, or MUCH smaller than anticipated, or not what you wanted at all...

I'd blast an email to everyone you're related to and hope for the best. That's probably as good as it's going to get. I don't even buy from my kids' school fundraisers anymore. I'd rather give them a donation.

I agree with forwarding, via e-mail, a link to the web site provided already to friends and family. That's what I have done in the past with fundraisers my daughter has done.

Is the product all delivered to your son? If so you may want to be careful about taking orders from people that you're going to have to ship things to...it can also become an expensive commitment for you if that's the case.

The items will be shipped from the warehouse directly to the buyer. I guess maybe I'll stick with work and family. Thanks for all of your ideas. Be blessed.

You could try the local laundromat. I posted an ad up there and got a pretty good response (although I was practically giving away the stuff!). Ask at local stores -- some of them have bulletin boards and such. Maybe they would even let you set up something outside, like grocery stores. I think our Hy-Vee sometimes does that. Good luck!

I'd try family and friends. Maybe some people at work who you are friendly with and who you'd do the same for.

I don't know of any, but Dan (cowboy up) has a good idea.
I usually buy from as many of the kiddies as I can. Even though it is usually junk and over priced, it does help them usually, and makes them feel good. :)

Yeah, I wouldn't go too overboard. I'm glad fundraisers help the school or organization but I found it's not worth bothering my friends & co-workers over. Causes friction. Me and the grands order some little ole thing and move on.

Start with the parents. Grocery Stores usually have and bulletin board to post. Try local internet. Here we can post free on frederick.com. Word of mouth is still the best resource.

I generally just buy from my coworkers' children who used to buy from me when my children were younger. I agree that most of the fundraisers sell overpriced items and they are counting on people knowing the child. The exception for me is Girl Scout cookies. I will buy them from whomever comes to our neighborhood, because I know the product.

I love buying fundraiser items, but alas, I am broke... and I think the kids next door might be starting up on those soon. I don't know why they don't just do $.50 or $1.00 candy. That stuff appeals to most everyone.

Post the link here let people check out the products for them selves its not like your standing at their door they can look at the products and see if they wouldnt mind helping you out!
