What books do you consider CLASSICS? What are your favorites? This is a topic that has always intrigued me as I love reading them. I am currently on a Jane Austen kick. I have read "Northanger Abbey" and am reading "Emma" now with "Pride and Prejudice" on the nightstand waiting. My hope is to read, "The Jane Austen Book Club" once I have read all her works.
So, what books today will be classics in the years to come? I know I have asked a lot of questions, answer one or all of them. I just love to talk about the classics.

alice in wonderland
dr.doolittle(i swear it's not that bad)
peter pan (interesting how he portrays wendy)
