  I've been wanting this one since Emeril did one of his shows about
this book and had families from different nationalities sharing a
favorite recipe. I love trying recipes from different cuisines and cultures. I
was thrilled to get this one from Paperback Swap and what a pleasant
surprise to receive it and find it's autographed by Emeril!
  
  This would be a great book for a child who loves to cook and has
adventuresome tastes. There are several pages of useful information for
beginning cooks in this one. Pictures of things needed to cook recipes in
the book, safety tips for cooking with children and things like that.
Also included are some maps and flags representing the places the
recipes are from. Maybe a good way to teach and learn while cooking your way
around the world with your children.
  
  I love the information included with every recipe, sometimes about
the dish and country or region the recipe is from. Each recipe, pictures
and information and sometimes a tip related to the recipe are all on 2
facing pages. There is a photo of Emeril in a different position often
with a cartoonish type prop included with every recipe. Along with the
pictures of Emeril there is a photo from the country or region included
with most recipes and lots of other cartoonish type pictures.
  
   You can cook your way around the world with this one while you learn
what traditional dishes others enjoy. It's also a perfect armchair
traveling book and is fun to read with a child or alone. I'm looking
forward to cooking from this one maybe with my great niece Tesia if I can
get her to try some of the recipes since she's a picky eater if not then
with by big kids, Sarita and Dexter.
  
  This is Emeril's third children's cookbook. The first two were,
There's a Chef in My Soup and There's a Chef in My Family.
