MyMiniLife can best be described as a social network meets the Sims. There are plenty of 3D chats out there and a lot of them are programs that need to be downloaded. On here no software is need since the site uses flash. An interaction and chat feature will be available in the next couple months, making this a great alternative and perfect for those who are not using a Windows computer.
Right now, the focus is on creating embeddable virtual 3D homes in a similar style to the Sims games. Walls, flooring, and items can be purchased to make each place unique. The view can be changed between four different angles and the walls can be adjusted to see inside. Each person is able to create what the site calls a "minime," that can walk around the place. There are few extras that can be done with each of the items that is put in, such as adding effects or making links.
Everything in the site is purchased with fake money. This is easily earned by logging into the site, creating a profile, adding friends, and mutually visiting each other. Each day ones activity is calculated to giving the person his or her reputation score and a pile of fake money.
