Do you like to have some alone time...how do you like to spend it?
I live near a beach. There's a spot at the north end of town with difficult access and several miles before the next town. To walk there with my dog and the pacific swell frothing up the shore washes down my soul. Released, I end up playing like a little boy
Charity - I live on an island and the beaches are in easy reach. Yes, outdoors is mesmerising - I just lie on the sand and watch the stars at night and think on the reason for being here. The other fascination indoors is meditation - journey of the soul to the innermost core of my being and re-emerging refreshed.
((( Places...just so many different places to ponder and to refresshen one's mind on this Earth...everyone has such nice places they go to...this is good for "US" creative people)))
My home has a large master bath with a garden tub/jacuzzi. I close the bedroom door then the bathroom door put on music (very loud) and take a long undisturbed hot bath. Even the pets know not to disturb me when those doors are closed and music is coming from within. Oh, I forgot, I also take a tall glass of wine to sip and enjoy.
Often for alone time I go to the park with or without fishing poles. I walk the trials or just sit and watch the ducks on the lake. Other times th eriver is calling me to come commune with it.

Growing up I lived in Lake Tahoe and would hit a place we call Lily Pond Lake
then the bathroom door put on music (very loud) and take a long undisturbed hot bath.
Even the pets know not to disturb me when those doors are closed and music is coming from within. Oh, I forgot, I also take a tall glass of wine to sip and enjoy.
For alone time, any quiet place to read works for me :)

My own back yard or my chicken yard. They make their own language and are gentle creatures.
