A couple goes for a meal at a Chinese restaurant and orders the Chicken Surprise. The waiter brings the meal, served in a lidded cast iron pot. Just as the wife is about to serve herself, the lid of the pot rises lightly and she briefly sees two beady little eyes looking around before the lid slams back down.
"Good grief, did you see that?" she asks her husband.
He hasn't, so she asks him to look in the pot. He reaches for it and again, the lid rises and he sees two little eyes looking around before it slams down. Rather perturbed, he calls the waiter over, explains what is happening and demands an explanation.
"Please sir," says the waiter, "what you order?"
"Chicken Surprise."
"Ah, so sorry. I bring you Peeking Duck."

Sorry, I haven't done too well on comments today. I was off on a mission to raise people's ratings. Somebody was rating a lot of pix low yesterday and when I get set on a mission, I have a little problem with obsessive compulsive behavior.
This town had a shooting several months ago and 2 or 3 people were killed. Now some city official has said that everyone would be safer including the college kids if everyone carried weapons! I am going to take along an AK47 but don't know how well I can handle it while riding a bike.

I prefer IHOP or a local place called the Old European. My grandson thought it was named for somebody who was 'peeing'. He couldn't figure that out.
