Another kid while out running for his high school is missing and presumed dead after he ran into high running water. He was swept away. How do we tell our kids it's just not worth the short cut. Please warn everyone you know.

The slogan "Turn Around, Don't Drown" is very prevalent. Even the local meteorologists repeat it whenever we have a lot of rain.
So sorry for this family.
It goes from one extreme to another depending on where you live.
Here in So Cal which I call HELL it hasn't rained in so long and there are so many
fires that everything is dieing off. Our Forest is slowly dieing off for lack of Rain, to many fires and bark beetles. It is sad to watch and I remember when these places were green and lush many years ago. :( Not any more. My prayers are with all of you getting to much rain and we would love for some of it to come our way. We would share to make it even out.
