Don't laugh……I was inspired.
I unearthed some drawings circa 1990-93.
For the most part all of the drawings were done in PrismaColor pencils and a blending stick was used on the first few.

(the original box was much bigger)
Here they are:
The first was supposed to be a sunset behind a mountain.

(would not upload to article so I uploaded it to images)

The second was supposed to be an eclipse.

The third was a try at drawing a face…but since I was terrible at good balance in the face…I included a flower/greenery.

The fourth was a heart of love….all rich and colorful…I guess I was in love at the time.

The fifth and sixth were drawings of what I wanted my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses to look like.

The seventh drawing was an attempt at actually drawing another face…figuring that if I set it at an angle I could get good balance with the features….I gave up when I seemed to have trouble with the eyes.

The eighth and ninth drawings were right after I wrote "My dearest ****" http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.jsp?articleId=281474977037848. The first was love melted and the second was Bound Love…I wanted that as a tattoo.

The tenth was where I gave up in the end….I guess I was too critical at the time…but this is pretty much where the drawings ended.

Neat pics. Isn't it cool to see how much talent we had when our lives were still as much defined by our hopes and dreams as anything else?
