Favorite things!

I have to be very careful when the holiday seasons nears. Almost everything on the shelves if my "favortie thing." Oh, its not that I buy everything, I save that for after  christmas sales, its that I can spend HOURS go through the ornament section of each and every store.

I am not kidding! My other half has been know to slap his hand over my eyes and grab me and run......

and I have learned to warn those shopping with me, by doing a slow turn towards the store and utter a loud UT OH....kinda like a hunting dog on point!

Then I usually utter the complimentary" sorry" as I head into the store.

My other half either follows or doesnt.....He 'll either stand there like a rock star's guard next to me, politely nodding and projecting intrest at my OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH's and AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH's, or he'll just say"K, I gonna go outside for a few" and  disappears.

This year is gonna be "THE BEST". I have two sons who just moved into their own homes! And one of my favorite things about my favorite things, is sharing them!

This year, I already informed my youngst son, who shares an old house built in the 1800's, that christmas is at his place. Our place right now is so tiny I cannot even get a tree in it......so he will have to allow me to bring my stuff up and set it up there.....maybe someday, it will be 'over the river and throgh the woods..."literally,LOL.....but till then..

I also have a big thing about making my own greeting cards, so my next favorite thing is to taking pics  of my favorite things!       Christmas season is open season on ornament's, if my camera is in hand!

Now that I have my computer, where everything is at my finger tips, well, its gonna be a GOOD YEAR!
