I love to snack on nuts.
But for the past 5 months all crunchy snacks have been off limits. I was having trouble with TMJ and it was due to the condition of my teeth and gum disease. So I needy to have all the teeth pulled and have dentures made. But wouldn't you know I ended up going to the wrong dentist. They really messed me up. Most dentists take impressions first and have the dentures all ready before they pull your teeth (I found this out after the fact). So when they pull your teeth they put the dentures right in. This dentist pulled all my teeth and didn't take the first impression until 3 weeks after. Then they took a second impression a week after that. I finally got my dentures 6 weeks after they pulled my teeth. But I couldn't wear them. They hurt and I couldn't close my mouth. All they would do is say that it was my fault because I wasn't biting down right and told me to go home and try them. I finally went to another dentist and asked them to look at the dentures. They said it was as if I was trying to wear someone elses dentures. And they didn't like the way my mouth looked. So they sent me to a surgeon. I ended up having to have surgery to correct the way the bones were left. Now the insurance wants me to go back to the people who messed me up to get new dentures made!
