What would you do diferently or what would be on your "must have" list that you don't have now - or that you DO have and that you love?
I'll start:
1 . Love our decks. Would want one deck and a private view.
2. A nice sized kitchen with room for the family to eat in there.
3. Family room and living room.
4. Fireplace
5. Low maintenance.
6. A garden, however small, that could hold two chairs or a hammock.
7. Lots of storage!

1- 4 bedrooms are a must with 3 growing kids
2- large kitchen with a LOT of storage
3- big back yard
4- storage space
5- roomy layout
6- semi-private yard, but close to a town
7- great school district
1- That large eat-in kitchen, one you could hang out in. Storage for sure.
2- Fenced in yard - I must have 2-3 dogs to love and don't want them getting hurt.
3- Room to grow flowers and food.
4- Storage everywhere.
5- Next time, a level yard, no stairs to get to the back yard. :)
6- BIG bathtub, cast iron preferably.
7- Low maintenance everything.
8- Love my almost totally tiled front yard. No mowing, no mud.
9- Closer to the beach.
I LOVED the kitchen -- huge with lots of counter space.
Lots of closet space. I own too many clothes.
My house was on a golf course and I loved that open feeling and beautiful view.
At least a two-car garage -- room for the pop-up camper.
I would prefer NOT to have the furnace in the attic. When the pilot light went out, I had to crawl on my belly across the rafters and insulation to light it.
Lots and lots of windows. Light coming in all day long.
I want my next house to be in the mountains.
I love our house, but the kitchen is so small that things have to go in other rooms. We keep soda in the hall closet for example. Also there is no real linen closet, that would be nice. The laundry room is really a closet, I just laughingly refer to it as the laundry room.
Other than that, I love it. We have a great view of Morro Rock and the Bay and can walk down to the beach in a minute. I don't drive, but everything that I need to get to all of the time, I can walk or bike to easily. We really love it here.

2. I love the woods next to our house, but would love the ocean there more.
3. Love the master bedroom, but would want the new house to have a door opening to the deck
4. Love the trees, but would want my next house not to have the biggest tree in town because the leaves are too messy in the fall.
5. I like the carpeting but would rather have hardwood floors. (Of course, when I had hardwood floors in my old house, I wanted carpeting.)
6. Love the closet space and would want that again.
7. Love the brightness and all the windows and couldn't live without that either. Plants thrive!
I would also look more closely at the quality of everything, the door posts and the windows and the awnings and just see what they used when they built the house.
I'm stopping as a member of Comment Speedway. Glad I found you and your article.
