Some of you might have read that Kyleigh didn't enjoy water when she was little. She hated it every time when we gave her a bath. She has come a long way and now she totally enjoys the bath time. She has also realized how fun it is to splash the water everywhere.
So, this past weekend we filled up the Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom as Kyleigh's private swimming pool. We want to start out like this, so she doesn't get scared. Besides, an indoor pool with warm water would feel so much better for our little princess.
My husband got in the tub first, and acted that he was having fun. I slowly "dipped" Kyleigh in the water. We have a baby floater and I was going to put Kyleigh in there. But she seemed a little nervous, so I just sat down in the tub with her and put her on my laps.
After a few minutes, she got used to the huge bathtub and started to explore. She used both hands to splash the water, and got water all over everyone's face. I think we were in there for about 15 minutes, and then she wanted to get out.
Next weekend we should try to have her deeper in the water, and see how she takes it.
