I wanted to start off by saying sorry to all my gather connections (friends) about not being on here a lot and not commenting very much. I have been trying to make sure everything is done and in order before my husbands surgery. As far as the surgery, we got a call a couple of weeks ago that they were moving the surgery date up.
So, instead of having the surgery on the 30th of this month, it is going to be on the 23rd. He is getting more and more nervous as the surgery date approaches. I hope everone will forgive me with my frequent abbsences from Gather.
After he comes back from the hospital (he will be in there for at least three days), I will catch up on my commenting a little better. I will be commenting as much as I can until the surgery. Thanks for everyone's understanding.

Ask questions, dont be afraid to speak up and remember your husband has rights to deny medicine or certain treatments.
Most importantly
EVERY TIME THEY GIVE HIM AN INJECTION OR A PILL, ASK WHAT IT IS. TELL HIM TO ASK WHEN YOU ARE NOT THERE. IT COULD SAVE HIS LIFE!
