Her image lingered well into the night
I sensed her presence in a dawn so bright
It made me giddy 'though I was alone
Sweet plans of seduction ran through my bones
Certain flowers live on this higher plane
Some leave you gasping then likewise abstain
Their path is longing but blind is the way
Wistful belonging was the fate of clay
I was a poor man with not much to give
Her eyes were shining my hope she'd forgive
Words of passion from a heart stirred with fire
Somehow I felt she shared in my desire
I felt so nervous with doubts causing pain
So deep was my love did she feel the same
It just was her truth that could save my life
No need of seduction she gave me sight
The dawn now breaks as I catch memory
This flower grew and gave much love to me
A few rough patches in dreams we have shared
Soon I'll say goodbye to my love my air

The body made out of clay! beautiful
How can one not like your poetry?
I do not think there is such a person
thank you
I think that you and your wife fond and shared love in many continents. I feel that at times you leant on each other. You shared the elements of a grear love.
It's beautiful that you tell us about it. It made my day.
I loved your poem.
