This is probably one of the many diet plans I have either tried or read about that I think is definitely workable. I did it on my own for awhile along with going to CURVES and I did awesome. Imagine how well I would have done had I gone to the meetings. I also think that would have kept me more motivated with the plan.
I know that many people all over the world have done Weight Watchers and would love to hear about it from others. I am thinking about doing it full force this time, the meetings, the weigh ins, the works. Before I do it though, I want to be sure I can commit. My husband will support whatever I do and he has no problems spending the money if that is what I think it best for me, so that isn't an issue.
I really hope some of you will share with me about this topic. Is there a group for Weight Watchers on Gather? I need to look into that as well.

1. Becomiing in touch with my EMOTIONS and how that relates to eating. I keep a journal. If I want to eat, I have to drink a glass of water and write down what I'm feeling FIRST. Often the act of writing it all down gets the "hunger" out of my system and I know that it is EMOTIONAL hunger, not physical hunger.
2. Using small plates (salad or dessert size plates) and then reducing portion sizes drastically. Becoming aware that restaurant servings are unrealistically large.
3. Chewing slowly, paying attention to what I eat and my hunger.
4. Getting a pedometer and making sure I walk every day, even if it is only around the block. Parking farther away from the store. Walking to the store if I can.
5. This may not work for everyone but Glucerna shakes keep my blood sugar even. They are made for diabetics but contain no medicine or anything harmful. They keep me from having blood sugar spikes.
