So the book is fantastic... There is murder, vampires, humor, telepathy, sex.... I can see why someone would recommend this to a Laurell reader... Sookie is a great character who can read minds... Makes her dating life quite a predicament... The she meets Bill, a vampire... She falls in love with the fact there is someone her world whom she can't "hear"... She ends up liking Bill's acceptance of her and also liking him... But she learns quickly, not all Vamps are as sweet as Mr. Bill Compton... I have to say I didn't even want to set my book down to write this but I had to let you guys know just how good this book is...
