Cobblestone Press - My Newest Publishing Home

In July, I submitted a manuscript to Cobblestone Press for their continuity series, The Vampire Oracle.  This series is comprised of many authors, each of whom have a "theme" for their novellas.  And these books will be going to PRINT! 

I recently found out that my story for the "TOMB" theme was accepted!  In fact, you can see the cover in this article.  Isn't it dark and mysterious?  :P

 Some of the other themes include DEATH, INNOCENCE, LIFE, AWAKENING, REBIRTH, etc...  Each of these novellas are steamy romances, involving a vampire in some shape or form.  :)  I chose the TOMB theme because I actually had a story idea in my brainpan I had no idea what to do with.  Now, I have an excuse to write it!!  :D

Here's the blurb I wrote for this one:

Douglas McCarthy is a vampire haunted by the screams of his victims.  After killing a woman accidentally, he vows he will never kill again, and entombs himself within the walls of his own cellar.

Diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer, Holly Cartwright knows she only has months to live.  Buying the Whispering Pines Plantation with her life savings was,perhaps, the best thing she ever did.   But Holly doesn't care that the manor appears to be haunted, as she'll soon be joining the "ghosts" herself.

But what she discovers behind the walls is more than she ever dreamed possible...

We shall see how well it does!  The covers for this series were "pre-fab", meaning, they were created before the authors were contracted, but I think mine really fits the tone of the story with the mysterious eye and the gates to the plantation...  Awesome!

 I'm very excited to be with Cobblestone Press.  I'm sure there will be many more books I will publish with them down the road!  Woohoo!
