WHY???

I think people do not rate games like they would an article, story, picture or poem.

I always rate if I comment, I click 10, then scroll down to comment. I haven't gotten to all the posts yet tonight, just got home from work.
You can count on me rating 10's every time, on every article I comment on

I vote based on quality of the article, or how much interest it could spark/is sparking (not in me personally but in others/in general) and I try to comment where I can. I'm not just in it for the points or to rate a 10 on everything I see. I try to play the games and I like coming up with them too, but I have other things to do besides Gather. :)

Again, like I said the last time it was asked... It's not people. It's posts. If someone posts multiple times, well, they can't vote again. They can only vote once. You had MAYBE 10 people respond out of those 36 posts. Which gives you an average of 1/5 of people voting.
From there, some people forget. If they're new, they might not know to. I didn't learn about voting until I had been here a week.
For three, I'm a firm believer in if I didn't like it, I simply don't rate it, in most cases.
Plus, some people just don't vote on games that often... :/

Sorry that's all the help I can give you, but honestly, I think that you only get so many votes.

For the record, you have a 10 on this article from me... but try not to worry about not getting votes as much. The comments are the thing that helps you know what people like.

I rate ten because of the points. Most people on here are her for points, if you weren't here to enjoy the points, my guess is you would be posting on another forum or website that doesn't reward with points. So, in order to help everyone out with their point goals, I rate 10 and hope people rate me 10 as well.
I guess thats just how I see the site lol Maybe i haven't been here long enough to 'get' everything eh oh well :) I like sharing the love with 10s

I am the same way. If I comment, I rate. Sometimes I just rate but not comment. I always rate a ten unless I fat finger the keyboard!

I always rate a 10. If I dont like the article,I usually dont comment or rate.

hi, ratings don't guage anything in my mind,but i do what i found to be the Gather-way and give 10's......sometimes i forget,but am now getting into habit of rating first before typing my comment.....only time i may rate lower is on content i feel is some inane BS politically,or misogynistic.....

i don't usually click on anything relating to the bible, or manmade religion much less rate it ....more likely than not most people just forget to rate....

articles take a lot of work, to me there is a difference, I think I voted, I usually votes on everything.

I agree with you, Lora. Why comment if you're not going to rate the article? I always rate anything I comment on but I know lots of people don't.

If I comment, I rate, unless I find the topic really offensively obnoxious, then I abstain.

I always rate and I don't think I have ever given less than a ten. Even if I don't agree with the article, it is worth a ten for how well it is written. I don't understand the point system at all and it used to matter to me, like getting an A in school, I wanted 10's. I basically write because I enjoy it and maybe it is better not knowing how to get points.

If I read an article, I like to comment & rate.

I rate a ten on any article I comment on as well. Sorry but I don't play very many games. Only occasionally.

I love most games but usually don't rate them unless I have really enjoyed it and it was innovative or original in nature. As for everything else, I vote 10's across the board. If it is something obnoxious, I don't score at all but will always comment whether I agree with said article or not.

I always give a ten, but I know about people not commenting back on posts. I comment on alot of people's but they never answer on mine...but as for ratings...I never really look

gee jennifer I will remeber that next time I read something of yours I don't like and still give you 10 for effort anyways. Guess you just lost that 10.

I think I participated in the Bible name game, but not sure. I know I didn't vote, but it was on accident because my husband came home for lunch and I had to get off so I could spend a little time with him. I'll give you a 10 here. Sorry about not doing it on the game.

Lora. I almost always give you a 10 because you have good stuff. I appreciate you responses to some of my items as well. Better than some of my other friends LOL... Sometimes, I suspect that a reader gets interested in formulating a response and then doesnt remember to vote until they have posted. I try to vote first and then post. Some people might view a game differently than another kind of article.. I, for one, find you stuff entertaining and will read and respond as much as my crazy schedule allows me to do so.
