benedryl will also help with the itching...if it's too bad, you'll need to see a doctor to get a steroid.

FOLLOWED BY TEA TREE OIL..

My son is a terrible scratcher, it quickly spreads all over, Zanfel has saved me twice. And like Cooleo said, it's Carrot Top!!

I love the smell of Melaleuca (Tea tree). I bought some about 7 years ago. They couldn't get enough water. It was high a maintenance tree.

The zanfel testimonials are great. Thanks for the link Barbara. One of them said, "The most wonderful product I have ever found in terms of stopping the poison ivy dead in its tracks is Zanfel. This stuff works better than anything. The poison ivy simply goes away! You should recomend this to everyone..."

Congratulations to all winners,
There's a spray on product that I always use on the boys (They are constantly into something they aren't supposed to be! LOL) called Ivy Stop. It stops the itching and dries out the rash. It works wonders. Hope you can find some in your area.

No problem Cooleo! My brother first heard about it on Paul Harvey, I doubted it but my son had it so bad I was desperate. It worked immediately. I got it at a local pharmacy and did not have to order it on line.

I have heard if you eat poison ivy you will not get it. But I am not willing to try for obvious reasons.

I just wanted to stop by since I am finally going through what is now listed as under 4,800 pieces of gather new mail that is sitting in my inbox on here.
