It's always interesting to me to see how the world changes. I've often looked at my grandparents life and think about everything they've seen; all the changes in technology, politics, wars, commerce, life. It makes me wonder a lot about what we'll see, how this world will change as time goes on.
It seems the internet continues to be a driving force as to what changes are being made. If I want to, I go online and buy a plus size pirate costume. I don't go to the mall. I don't stand in line. I don't waste time in traffic. Click, and it's in the mail. Or, what if I need to buy a gift for my niece? Boom, taken care of like that.
I've always been intrigued by those items that transcend a few decades as well. For instance, take the Transformers, they're back and having an impact on a whole new generation. It will come and go again, but it makes you think about a few other things as well.
I love studying the Word. I love it's eternal power. It gives me hope that as this world changes, I can rely on the Rock of my Salvation.
