I know business' are out to make a profit but at what cost?
Lead paint on baby toys. Look up the effects that eating lead paint will do to your children.
Buying items manufactured in China is cheaper than buying American made products but look at the quality of the items.
There is an unfair trade balance between America and China. There has been for many years. We import more goods then we export...at the cost of American jobs.
We as the consumers hold the power to drastically reduce that trade imbalance. Next time you go to the store BUY AMERICAN.

There's a great website that has a list of Buy American or USA Made companies. I will let you know what it is. I have to find it. I'm at work. When I have a minute I'll go in and look and then post it here. :)
On another note, an illegal fake cigarette ring was busted on Long Island thisweek. The cigarettes, which were produced inChine, lookg exaclty like thsoe you buy in the store (packaging and everuything) but had almost double the amount of tar and nicotene. I don't smoke but just the fact that these got into the country at all amazes me.
I think that it's time to start putting some kind of limit on Chinese imports. I'd rather pay more money and know I'm getting safe, legitimate goods.
