Magic yesterdays
the sun upon the water
and the ducks
receiving a flower from a child
he hides it behind his back
then hands it to me
with a smile
that makes the sun
a mere shadow.
Singing an old Irish song
about ghosts and love that haunts
I let go of the past
and live the now
today and today and today
loving the sun and the flowers
and my children
placing their feet
in the water of the river
that moves on and on.
Watch the dog run
like the wind
and later how she
sleeps and dreams
no shoulds or coulds
of the magic of yesterday
in the woods.

I've read much of your stuff and I wonder if you'll allow me these opinions...all meant to help you.
You are among friends now now who care about you.
Your husband went away with his ego satisfied but you have two beautiful sons.
These sons love you and will more and more be protective towards you.
So you have got the best of the deal. It may not seem like it but it's so.
On the other hand, your sons are looking at you...in the subconscious they are looking at you and saying "here's a crisis. How will Mama handle it? Let's learn from her."
So you have ained them but you're now their role model. You'll have to do things that can be beacons to them in future.
You can't have the luxury of lying down and giving up. They're watching you.
I don't know you well enough but I think that this is what I'd do. I'll get a track suit and start jogging. I'd start playing a different kind of music in the house. I'd study something.
I'd go to every sports function that your kids are in. I'd even join the local softball team ...just to show your sons that their Mom is very special.
You know what I mean Sigalit. You three are a team...be an A team.
We'll talk some more. Good luck...and we're here for you.
