How do I put a hot link in an article or email? I do it when someone tells me and just as quickly I forget. This time if someone knows. I'm going to type out the answer.
I know how to do it in a article. There is an icon for it. It looks like a link in a chain. Highlight the words you want to use to create the link. Click the button and a pop up appears. Add the link to the box, and you have created a link.
Carol, Dark has the right answer. Where it says url, this would be the http://www part and where it says text you put in the words that you want to be in blue, which becomes the link.
I'm having a difficult time typing. Use <> instead of the brackets but this is the correct way. (a href="http://www.gather.com")Gather (/a) It should come out like the above comment if you use the < and > instead of those brackets though.
