ON THE ROAD AGAIN

Well we are on the move again, we spent the last two days in a very nice campground. We rented a basic cabin- it air/elec but no plumbing. I also had no internet. We stayed at the  Round Top Campground in Gettysburg. When we arrived in Gettysburg I was so glad I booked the hotel first and campground second! We drove thru those storms and then had to sit out more storms. But Gettysburg was lucky, we did get the torrential rain and some parts did lose power..but we did not get what Pittsburgh and Brooklyn did.

 One odd thing I noticed at the hotel was a grave against the wall across from us..I found it strange ..and a little amusing. Hey..I did not have to go far to see any headstones, all I had to do was look at the window. We stayed at the General Lee's Headquarters, Larson's Quality Inn.

We are now staying in a hotel in VA, it makes sitting in the middle of the graveyard at midnight not scary. We went from an exceptionally clean campground, a beautiful civil war decorated hotel room to this. The pool is cloudy, the bathroom is dirty, the towels are a joke and only one! and the air hardly works.

Well , at least I have the internet  back! and tomorrow I will be in a Best Western! and no slumming for the rest of this trip!..ps we are so uncomfortable here we have sequestered ourselves to the room til 6 am tomorrow morning. Let's put it this way....the internet pictures were really nice..and this place does not resemble the awesome shots displayed....lol..maybe they were taken 10 years ago..
