In todays Village Voice, the Rudy that we all know and love is reduced to a bumbling liar, which isn't too surprising after reading about his lies on his tax cut claims. He has been publicly called on the carpet of late by the firefighters and rescue workers that say his claims of being down at ground zero "all the time" amounted to mostly photo ops with celebreties, but now the Voice takes a look at his terrorism bona fides, and finds him seriously lacking, and seriously lying, as well. i think people just remember seeing him on television on september 11th and don't really know what he is about. they just have that picture of him in their mind.

Karl, It happens everytime there is a national tradgedy. I just dont understand why all of you guys have such hate for the President. It happens of both sides I understand but we should at least have respect for the Presidency even if we dont agree with them.

I don't know why you think a president, that has stripped the very constitution he swore to uphold is worth any respect at all. How do you do that? You are not asking people to honor the presidency, because we all do that. You are asking us to respect the moron in the office. No moron is incorrect, traitor is more to the point. When he stood up and swore to protect the constitution, and then did everything he could manage to change it and strip us of our rights, he ceased being respectable, because he respects nothing. He has said, if you believe the sources, that the constitution is just a piece of paper, well, if that is true to him, then this is true to me, he is just a man.
It also doesn't help that he was never elected, but through fraud and Daddy's Supreme Court nominations, he has thwarted the national will in two presidential elections. He has never, to me, ever been the president, anyway, not mine, for sure.

I would hope everyone will forward a copy of this article to everyone they know. Get it in larger circulation. This fellow is an absolutely flagrant liar!

Bush has done NOTHING to deserve respect. Just the opposite.

What I worry about most is that we will be attacked again and another neo-con will be swept into the White House. If you think GWB is bad, just wait 'til you see Rudy in action!

I don't know if he is pathological, but he is definitely trying to make us think that we should elect as President the man who just happened to be New York's mayor on 9/11. It would have taken a really inept politician to not come out of that smelling like roses.
