Out Of Barbecue Sauce? Try This

You need:

1 c. Ketchup

1/2 c. Brown Sugar

4 tsp. Mustard (spicy is better)

 

Directions:

Mix all ingredients well and microwave on medium for one minute.

Sounds very yummy! Might have to give it a try. I think I'd probably spice it up with some extra spices though.

I have one I make instead of buying. One cup ketchup, one tablespoon each of sugar, vinager, and wishishiresauce. Mix togathere and pour it on.

My dad makes the best barbecue sauce, but he makes it differently everytime, so I can never get the recipe. This one sounds good.
This sounds good. I've done it with ketchup and honey. Very sticky but tasty.

Dan, I can't say it would not work. I haven't tried it and have no plans to try it. Never know until you try but I seriously doubt it.

awesome! i was looking for a bbq sauce replacement now that i'm doing the no sugar diet and I can replace the brown sugar with the splenda brown sugar replacement!!!!!
