This summer my sons and I went to Denmark, and while we were there we went to visit my grandmother. She lives on Sealand (The Eastern Island where Copenhagen is), while my father and my brothers live in Northerm Jutland to the west.
My sons and I love to take the boat between the two parts of Denmark, although there is now a bridge connecting the country.
We tool an almost three hour boat trip from Aarhus in Jutland to Kalundborg on the western side of Sealand. Since we were there already I wanted to show my son's the incredible church in Kalundborg, and on our way we found a very charming part of the city.

Thank you for liking my Intense Photo Challenge winning photo of the birch trees. It was a fun challenge to find something unusual to shoot.
