To those of you who have already voted for my story, thank you so much! I really appreciate the vote - and the feedback I've received also.
If you haven't yet voted for it, please, please, would you have a look and consider voting?
I would really appreciate your help to stay in the top ten (those are the ones that go on to actually be judged)

It SUCKS
my college - all campuses = one vote.
my sister's work, all over Ontario = one vote
it is very frustrating! Thank you for trying though :) I hope you liked the story.
the apartment we lived in then is now slated for demolition - I was thinking that the next time I drive by there I should stop and snap a few pictures.
I also wanted you to know I've read what you've written in the past couple of days, but I've done it here at work. Every time I've gone to leave a comment, I've been interrupted, so it looks like I'm ignoring you. I'm not. And if I hit POST on this one quick enough, you'll know that.
they said that they'd removed all the excess votes, i.e. all the ones that came from the same IP addresses .... but that one story still has almost 2x as many as any other
just trying to keep it in the running for the judging round.... I'm at 168 votes now... the Red Dog story has almost 300.... no easy way to find out where others are, but I think ... hope.... I'm in the top 10.
You got my vote and, yes, it did register okay. Thanks for letting me in on that website too.. :-)
kids are ~great~ ...that used to be mantra for the days when mine were driving me bonkers. Perhaps I'll use that for a title if it loses and I try submitting it someplace else
But everyone was fine :)
thanks for the votes, Arlene and Kelly ...and the re-read, Gwen :)
I have myself on video reading it ... have to try to get a copy of that dvd
amazes me how many are in there with ZERO votes - you'd think people would at least vote for their own story, wouldn't you?!
Synch, the prize is £1,000 and publication (in the UK) - and thanks for your vote!
Hi Donna
Unfortunately I'm unable to vote for this entry just now - as someone else in a similar situation to you asked me to vote on it the other day, so I'm unable to vote from it from from this end. I will though vote for it from my home PC later on.
Kind regards
Nicola
