Renaissance Faire~ New York Style

Nice pictures. Thanks for sharing. I have lived in New york all my 43 years and I have never been to this. I keep saying I want to go. Hopefully someday I will.

Great pictures, and a renaissance wedding sounds like fun. It will probably reduce the number of attendees though, as some will not go to the trouble/expense of finding costumes, but they won't want to turn up without them. This may be good or bad, depending on your objectives....

I've been to one of these (in Ohio). They're lots of fun.

Walter, our daughter had a Ren Wedding. Over 200 people attended and about 3/4 of them dressed. We had a blast. The food was cooked on a spit while the wedding was going on. 100 chickens and 2 hogs. The wedding was at a park on a lake. The wedding party paraded into the park area while my husband and daughter followed on horses. They music was an actual Ren-Faire band. There were jugglers, fire eaters, people on stilts, jesters, queens, kings, pulpers. I have a few pictures up on Gather. I've got more that I want to post.

It was amazing and so much fun. We recommend theme weddings to everyone that asks. Our oldest daughter (if she ever gets married) is thinking about a theme wedding, too. You go for it. Then we'll all wait to see the beautiful pictures of another fun Ren-Wedding.
