There was recently some mention made of a Chinese minister, or someone floating the idea of destroying the American economy by selling the trillions of dollars they have for some other currency. Granted, this instance of bluster was primarily intended to bluff the Congress into believing that they would be happy destroying the global economic trade system. But, would it be possible for China to buy 200 Trillion Yen? How would that change the dynamic? Could China then buy Iran's oil fields?
