you'll NEVER touch me

Not only will you never touch me, you're not even able to do so. In fact, you have NEVER touched ANYTHING in your whole life. When you "touch" a table, for example, the electrons in your fingertips merely repel the electrons that are in the table. Picture this as with what happens with two VERY LARGE magnets (kinda like your buddy who has the subwoofers in his car with super huge magnets). If you tried bringing them close to each other they'd merely repel and it'd take a LOT of energy to make them actually touch each other. The repulsion between electrons is so strong that it's able to help us do things like make mag-lev (bullet) trains that are able to reach speeds of around 300 mph. If you go to 6 flags magic mountain in southern California, you can go on the ride Superman which speeds you up to around 100 mph in just a few seconds due to magnetic forces. Anyways, just to emphasize a point, the only way to make two sub atomic particles actually TOUCH each other is to cause a nuclear reaction which takes a lot of energy to actually make particles collide. I very highly doubt that you've caused a nuclear reation before. Thus, no matter how hard you push on that space bar in front of you, you will never actually have any part of you physically touching any part of it. There will ALWAYS be a small space in between things.
