My Friend Wulfweard Thinks This Is The Worst...

Just a quickie today everyone, first to introduce you to Wufweard the White, Theign of Sussex; a Brit Blogger with a great sense of humour and second to seek your opinions on an e-mail scam that landed in Wulfweard's inbox and that he duly blogged.

Is Wulfie right? Is this the worst scam ever?Â I am usually very broad minded but even I find this one beyond the line. The problem is of course people will believe it and it will be used against the US militaryÂ service personnel whose lives are at risk every day. It could of course be a dirty tactic aimed at striiring up the resistance in Iraq. But equally it could just be some scummy little opportunists from anywhere in bthe world trying their luck.

Time we cleaned up the internet, I think.

It's a takeoff on the old Nigerian money laundering scheme...just send us your bank account number (that'll be the next request) so we know where to deposit the money. Some really gullible rubes were taken in with that one.

More and more scams daily, be careful out there it is like a big cities rush hour traffic,they are everywhere.

I think anyone willing to help this scammer probably deserves to lose everything they have. What right does anyone think this American soldier has to Saddam's money?
