Fun with Dating

I'm watching Larry the Cable guy and that health inspector movie and he's talking about taking a date to a buffet at a bus station. I started thinking, why did I never do that? Why not have a little fun and not take it so seriously?

When I was in Seattle, I should have taken a date to the food bank and just stood in line. Hell, any restaurant we would have gone to afterwards would have seemed so much better.

I did mess with Heather on our 1st date. We met up and I blindfolded her. She may have thought we were going some place exotic....but no, we showed up at Target. I had her take the blindfold off and she asked what we were doing there and I told her that I had to get socks since I needed some. It was hillarious (at least to me). Afterwards, I had her put the blindfold back on and then we headed up to a roller skating rink (hence the need for the socks), so there was a purpose and we did end up having a good time despite the way I set it up to start (to seem like it would be a disaster).

I don't know why more people don't do stuff like that. We take things so seriously and so formally. Why? It's totally not us.

Matt and I are constantly playing jokes on each other and constantly surprising each other. To mix things up a little and have FUN with each other is part of a strong foundation for a lasting relationship!!! Matt was my best friend for several years. When he got divorced and was available I WAS ECSTATIC!!! LOL We have been married 1 month and 2 days and are still having fun together!

I am commenting on all of your articles and photos as you have asked us to do in the mass email sent out! Not all my comments will be personalized as there are 20 pages of articles to read through and even more than that on photos and I would rather spend the time reading and looking and enjoying then writing!
