Gather's fishytales group is still bubbling away under the surface, glub glub.
If you're not yet a member it might be worth checking out if you have an interest in:
fish, crustaceans, watery bubbles, scuba diving, people who scuba dive, underwater photographers with photos of underwater denizens, seashores of the beach variety (or other), pearls in or out of oysters, marine biology, marine biologists, save-the-oceans campaigns, walking on the beach in moonlight, sunrise at the shore, buoys, girls in bikinis, girls in bikinis who like buoys, boats, messing around in them, lakes, ponds, ships, sails, fishytales, or any other sea-related things, objects, or events.
Do you have a favorite seafood recipe? Would you like to find one? Do you notice botanical fish drawings when they're hoisted upon you, matey?
If so, then navigate over to http://fishytales.gather.com and join in if you wish, bubbles included!Fishy or watery articles, images, and recipes are mega-welcome in the fishytales group.
And to check out my latest Dreamyfish drawing, try http://www.gather.com/viewImage.jsp?fileId=3096224744308967&iGrpId=3659174697242163 where you'll see a fellow from the Recherche Archipelago (I neglectfully put "Island" for the image's caption but I'll correct it asap--so if you're reading this now, you know the truth.)
The frisky rascal is a Red-banded wrasse and I think you'll see why.
Plus, you'll notice with this article (which is really a cordial invitation to view content and possibly join the glub-infused group if you haven't yet) that there's another denizen's portrait presented for your consideration...ensnared within his favorite dream...because fish dream, too.

Ahem.
and perhaps i overstated the case--you don't have to be interested in ALL of the above when just a few would gain you entrance into fishytales!!
ps: i left off 'coral and/or reefs'...my bad...
Just have fun, Kyra! ;p
Well, have great fun, Kyra, don't crisp yourself and bring us back a shell or fish photo or an anemenemone portrait...oh phooey, a few grains of sand might do at this point...
(i always loved St. Augustine because it has the history flavor goin' on plus the beach. But you're not going there are you?)
this public service announcement has been brought to you by fishikins, the talking fish. he loves to share his opinions and give advice, just don't piss him off.
Thanks to all fishytalers fresh and stale...and to fishikins I have to say:
PSAs are always appreciated (by somebody.) For supper it's Pearl Biscuits and Butter Gravy for you, no flakey filets for fishikins.
