Gather 1 year Anniversary (Republish for new group)

I just wanted to say hi to everyone today and let you all know that it is my 1 year annivesary here on Gater.

 I joined gather a year ago as part of my first BzzAgent campaign.  At first I was not totally sure what this place was all about until there was talk about it on Judy's Book.  I am not active on Judy's Book anymore as  they changed how their site works and I do not like how they changed it.  Anywho

 I am a stay at home mom to 4 great kids.  My oldest is 17 and currently in South Carolina doing basic training for the Army Reserve.  She is doing really great down there and we all cannot wait for her to come home.  she will be back home about the same time my SIL is home from her tour overseas.  We all miss them both and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of both of them back home.

My other children are 11, 6 and 2.  We have our trials and things going on with each one of them, but they are all loved the same.

I have  dog named princess who was poisoned last January, check my articles for more information on this, and she is still doing well today.  She gets along great with our 2 cats and the 5 kittens we are waiting to find homes for.  They are about 5 weeks old, so in a few more weeks, we will be searching for new homes for them.  Our bird gets noisy and has her own perch right here at my desk that she can sit at and gather with me. Our newest addition to the zoo here at our house is the 30 gallon fish tank.. We have put 2 puffer fish, 2 catfish, 2 weird and small bottomfeeders, and 3 other fish.

I have enjoyed making friends with all that I have made freinds no matter how you are connected, I still consider you a freind.

 I have written here on gather about many different topics, asked for advice and made tons and tons of comments. My new idea here on gather is to find a daily word and get others to write a sentence using the word.  It is an idea to get our minds thinking..I know we got enough of that kind of stuff in high school, but it is a good way to enrichen your vocabulary and learn some new words while we are at it.

I want to thank everyone for being connected to me and commenting on my articles over the las year.  If you have not sifted through them, my articles on ghost stories and my horrifying camping trip are some that are to be remembered.  They are close to the time I started here on gather.
