Hi everybody!
It's been awhile since I have published anything...and I just wanted to send out a general "hello" to everyone and do a pulse check on all of you. :) Please let the group know what you have been doing lately...we'd all benefit from one another to hear about the latest activity each Cultural Creative has been involved with.
Me personally...well, I have been involved with a few fun things. First on the list is an organization that promotes having fun, enjoying great music, embracing ideas and bringing the community together: it's called etown. Maybe some of you have heard of it...but if you have not, you might want to swing by their Web site at www.etown.org. If you live in or near the Boulder County area, I'd highly recommend attending one of their shows...or even volunteering! (That's what I did, and the perk was getting to see each and every show I wanted to for FREE in exchange for just a little bit of pre and post-show work!! I met some amazing musical talent including one of the first people to play and be at Woodstock: Richie Havens)
Second...I have decided to become a member of a phenomenal organization called the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS). It's directly linked to the Cultural Creative culture and right now they are offering a $1 trial month membership donation, which gives you get a free book titled "The Intention Experiment"by author Lynne McTaggart, a copy of their most recent iShift magazine, an intro CD titled "The Frontiers of Intention" and unlimited access to their weekly podcasts and interviews featuring world leaders such as: Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Paul Ray, Marianne Williamson, Deepak Chopra and James O'Dea. Here's the Web site if you'd like to check it out: http://www.shiftinaction.com/
That about wraps it up for me right now! I hope to hear from all of you regarding your latest "CC" endeavors. :) And please do let me know if you decided to link up with either of the above organizations after checking them out! I'd love to hear about your involvement with them or even to have an occasional chat about the organizations.
Best wishes and much success to you all with your creative endeavors!
Cecelia
