Help!!

I know this has surfaced a few times in the last who knows how many weeks; I just need to know how other members e-mail notices are working for them.  Because I am not get mine.  I get group notices but not comment notices.  Yes my settings are right; no it is not my ISP been there done all of that several times.  Did I write Gather; yep but guess nobody is home they don't answer.

All this started two or three weeks ago.  And I searched high low and couldn't find no "SHUT OFF" notice neither.  So here I sit and wonder; WHAT'S UP WITH GATHER???  Little gitches don't bother me much, causethey usually leave as fast as they come but this one is sticking around.

 Any thoughts?

I'm getting most of the notices I should be getting, but for the past couple of weeks, since the last Gather upgrade, I haven't been recieving any notifications at all alerting me to anyone publishing images. Not that it really bothers me all that much...just less I have to weed through.

Thank you Rob. My was bouncing back and forth, now it's the comment notices. It's very frustrating.

I haven't had any problems. Did you accidentally flag one of the notices as junk mail?

I haven't noticed anything unusual but I have been there before - annoying. Contact them again.

The last Gather Update seems to have screwed up many things. I keep hoping it will get better!

I have not been getting all of my notices anyway, or they are so delayed it isn't funny. I will get one within minutes of it being published, and another hours later, and it has had 10-15 comments already, and I just got the notice! There is no rhyme or reason to what I am getting and what I am not getting. It is getting so frustrating. I am not returning comments because I find out the hard way that somebody has been putting stuff on my articles weeks later. It is hard enough to keep up without losing notices!

Wiaka, this seems to be a lingering problem for a few members, but overall the problem was fixed a few weeks ago. I have sent off a request to support. They should be replying soon. I am sorry you are one still experiencing this problem.

About half my gather comments go into bulk for some reason. I just go into bulk and move them to my yahoo inbox. then I go into my comments and answer them.

I've been extremely busy this week. I have noticed getting E-mail alerts two days after a comment was posted on my E-mail. I just figured it was Alberto Gonzalez reading what I wrote.

I didnt gripe until I went into my mail and saw 80 comments and was rushing around trying to answer all my friends, then they all went away. I lost the points ut had fortunately written down how many and who had sent me mail.

Well, yesterday A.M. I had none from Gather. Around noon I received 137 emails all the way back to Monday. This morning I got some from Sunday and Tuesday (Monday was skipped) and the rest were from today and last night. I don't know what's going on.

I always do my best to reciprocate. By not getting comments sent to my E-mail makes this difficult. I have been extremely busy recently, but eventually I will go through my last 100 articles to see if there is anyone I did not respond to. I just hope any such person is not being held at Gitmo. Never know with the wild Gatherites,

I did have one problem when I was posting an
article 'If These Walls Could Talk' it came out all
askew and some of the people that read it said
it made them crossed eyed! Go take a look at it!
