Barry Bonds: Hero or Fraud?

With Barry Bonds about to break one of the greatest records in all of sports, I was wondering what everone thinks of him? Is he a hero or a fraud?

who is to say the pitcher he faced weren't using performance-enhancing drugs?

look at photos of him thru the years - does he really look steroid-ripped?

his accomplishment is worth mention and no asterisk is needed. hero? not really but I don't view athletes as heroes merely for their sports accomplishments. there's more to being a hero than that.

100% FRAUD! His records should be stripped from MLB, any homers he hit that helped either the Pirates or Giants win should be stricken and any games won by either of those teams should be vacated. Bonds is a fraud and if he gets into Cooperstown, then so should Pete Rose and the 1920 Black Sox!

yes, he does. As a rookie he was built like Screech. Now he looks like King Kong. The circumference of his head is probably and extra 3 inches.

He's a fraud. Oh, I forgot to mention we need incontrovertible proof he is guilty of doping. There seems to be a problem with figuring out just who to believe in that respect. IMO, he cheated and should be drummed out of baseball.

It's sad that people will go that far to be famous. I'm not sure if I think he's guilty or not, but the pictures are kind of strange...

Fraud. And it's a darn shame because he had enough NATURAL talent to be a great player anyway. It's what happens when someone decides they have to be THE best instead of one of many greats.
