My GREAT weekend!

Well I went to the lake Saturday morning with my 2 boys. My mom and dad own a camper over there and my brother has a boat.

The first time I went to the lake my son Brycen was pretty scared of the lake and boat. When we would go out on the boat he wopuld wanna sit right on me and if someone would ride the tube he freaked out and cried.  Well not this time!!! He wore his life jacket the entire time and played in the water swimming around. He has learned how to swim with a life jacket on now and him and my neice Abbey who is also 2 just swam all around! We had the tube in the water so they could play on it and Brycen kept jumping off and he leanred to flip off which turned into head first a couple times. he did soo good! He did not get choked up at all! He is so funny though when he goes under water he has his mouth opened..lol but he plugs his throat with his tongue so water dont choke him..

 Then we get out on the boat and he decides he wants to ride the tube with me. So I took him and he LOVED it! Of course my brother was going slow but it was so much fun. The second time he rode it he decided he wanted uncle to go a bit faster so we give him the thumbs up and off we go. we were going at a pretty good speed and my brother turned and the water was all in our face and we were bouncing around in the big ol tube called "big bertha" . He was holding onto the handles and I was holding onto him and man we had a blast!! As papa pulled us back up to the boat he decided we needed to jump in for a quick swim so we did and he thought that was hilarious!

The baby loves boat rides but is not the fondest of swimming. he mainly like to play up in the sand. My daughter was at her real dads for the weekend so thats why she was not there. Anyways we had a great time and can t wait to go back!
