Best Honeymoon locale

We spent our honeymoon is Hawaii. It was so lovely, the weather so perfect, but everything was very expensive. Where did you go and was it everything you'd hope it to be?

Would you go someplace different if you could do it over? Where would you go on your 25th aniversary if you could go anywhere you wanted to go without worrying about money?

I have an aniversary coming up so tell where the good times are.

I had been to Hawaii a few times and I truly love Kauai the best although all the Islands have so much to offer.

We are planning on doing the whole thing in Ireland. We have to spend at least 14 days there before the wedding to get the license, so we will have a pre-honeymoon.

This is my first marriage, but he went to Lake Tahoe for his first.

Our honeymoon was in various places in Hawaii. Susan was coming off of her surgery rotation in her residency year. She caught some intestinal bug on the first day or so and it festered a while inside her. We spent the first four days of our week traveling the islands and the last four days barely making the distance from the bed to the toilet.

We keep saying we need to go back and try it again.

We got married right after Hurricane Katrina, so we had to stay close to home. We went to Natchez for the Fall Pilgrimage and really enjoyed it. We went to Hawaii this year as a belated honeymoon and enjoyed that also, but it was about 10 times the cost of our first!
