Cake mayhem.

Okay today is my boyfriend's birthday. We haven't had any formal celebration yet because I am still trying to get a cake. I wasn't able to pre order one because he is always with me.  But I am being sneeky now, as he is taking a nap and trying to call around and get the prices on a quarter sheet cake to take to my grandma's for dinner. 

I know how much they are at my work, I just don't want to go in there on my day off...

So I am calling Wal-mart.

I say calling because I am still on the dang phone.   I have been ushered arround for the last fifteen minutes.

I just hung up, and called again.  I got the same woman.  I asked, "Can I speak to the bakery? I've been waiting fifteen minutes on the phone. Is anyone working back there?"

She cops an attitude with me and says "Well I have paged them six times just hold on"

And she puts me on hold, and just now another person picks up "How may I direct your call?"

"Bakery. Just like the last time I talked to you."

oh good. someone answered.  It's the deli.  Oh they can't write on cakes.  Nor do they know how much they are.

I give up.

I guess I have to go to work.
