When you follow your bliss... doors will open where you would not have thought there would be doors, and where there wouldn't be a door for anyone else.
It was probably Joseph Campbell that I watched being interviewed by Bill Moyers that started me down the spiritual path of enlightenment ... and follow your bliss was my mantra ... and still is in realizing that my intuition is the word of my soul which IS bliss.
So true, Jerry! The hardest part is the remembering that striving is pointless. I don't know if it's human nature to strive or if it is something that we are socialized into, but I do know that it's soooo tempting to try to be in "control" of my world. Like it's gonna let ME be the boss! NOT! LOL
Seriously, it seems that when I take a different tack, trying to be "attuned" to what NEEDS to happen instead of trying to MAKE things happen, that is when things seem to work out well. When I try to control what happens, that is when things go poorly for me, ultimately.
